The Town of Barrington is requesting sealed bids for the purchase of one (1) 2021 or Newer Model Six Wheel Dump Truck. The associated Snow Plow and Dump Body Package for Six Wheel Dump Truck bid is also open.

Proposals due:

Wednesday January 19, 2022 no later than 12:00 p.m. and will be opened shortly thereafter.

The Bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Town of Barrington, Highway Department and clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner “TOB BID-BHD-03, 2021 or Newer Model Six Wheel Dump Truck."

The Town of Barrington reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or any part thereof, and to waive any minor informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town also reserves the right to conduct reasonable negotiations with low bidders and sole bidders. Failure to submit all information may declare a bid as non-responsive and subject to disqualification.

Recommendation: 

Following review, Road Agent Marc Moreau made a recommendation to the Select Board for both the six-wheel dump truck and equipment.
