Conservation Commission

CONSERVATION COMMISSION
The Conservation Commission meets twice a month on the first and third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. In a largely advisory capacity it promotes the protection and conservation of the town’s many natural resources by: 1) maintaining an inventory of those resources, 2) active promotion of land conservation, 3) advising other town boards, and 4) commenting to the NH Dept. of Environmental Resources on applications to dredge and fill wetlands. It also administers the town’s conservation fund.
The Barrington Conservation Commission has openings for alternate members.
