Trunk or Treat is a rain or shine event!
 

Trunk-or-Treat is going to look a bit different this year due to the ongoing pandemic. Withsafety as our top priority we have made some changes to the event:

This year we will only be offering participation for residents. We understand that many people from the surrounding areas look forward to this event and we apologize for anydisappointment!

Masks will be required for all participants over the age of 2. The CDC has issuedguidance on the use of masks during Halloween: 

  • Do not use costume masks in place of cloth masks
  • Do not use a costume mask (such as for Halloween) as a substitute for a cloth mask unless it is made of two or more layers of breathable fabric that covers your mouth and nose and doesn’t leave gaps around your face.
  • Do not wear a costume mask over a cloth mask because it can be dangerous if the costume mask makes it hard to breathe. Instead, consider using a Halloween-themed cloth mask.

We will also be requiring pre-registration. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. We will be taking reservations for each half hour throughout the time of the event. The time slots will be 2:30, 3:00, 3:30, 4:00, 4,30, and 5:00. Each time slot is limited to no more than 8 groups and groups are not to exceed 10 people.  We ask that groups don't arrive more than 5 minutes prior to their time slot.

All youth participants willreceive a riddle sheet and go trunk to trunk with their group to solve riddles and clues that create a secret phrase. After groups complete the lap around the trunks they will say the secret phrase to the Treat Station andreceive a bag of candy and some fun prizes!

Calling all car owners! Dress in costume, decorate your car, & come join the fun! Registration required to participate. All cars are welcome! A contest will be held for Best Dressed Car! Winners will receive spooky prizes! See registration information below.

If you would like to provide your Trunk for this fantastic event, please download the Car Registration Application below and return it to the REC office by October 21st.
