What identification does the Town Assessor have? (2/19/2024)

The Town Assessor wears a bright vest, name badge with picture, and has an 'Official Business' magnet on their vehicle.  Note, during heavy salt use in the winter, the vehicle magnets do not always stay on.  If you find one, please return it to the Town Hall!  If you want to verify that it is the Town Assessor that is/was visiting your property, please contact the Assessing Office (603-664-0241 or assessing@barrington.nh.gov).  During cyclical inspections, the Town Assessor spends time in neighborhoods visiting each property, feel free to let your neighbors know so they are not alarmed by an unexpected visitor.
