2024 Summer Camp
The Barrington Recreation Department is happy to announce another summer of fun for children entering 1st through 6th grade in the fall of 2024. With an exciting new CIT program for kids entering grades 7th grade and up, under 14 years old. Your child will love our daily program filled with activities ranging from sports, games, and water play, to arts and crafts.
Summer Camp is an 8 week program beginning June 24th & ending August 16th.
Camp will operate 5 days a week, except for the week of July 4th. There will be NO CAMP on Thursday, July 4th.
New this year:
The whole camp will be taking weekly trips to Mendums Pond on Tuesdays starting week two of camp! Campers will have the opportunity to play in the water, supervised by Red Cross Certified Lifeguards, explore the woods, play games and participate in other fun activities! These trips will be included in the cost of camp.
Free Lunch Fridays: This year we will be including lunch each Friday of camp. We will alternate between our classic BBQ with the option of hot dog or hamburger and cheese pizza every other week. Campers will still need snacks and water on Fridays, but we've got lunch covered!
There will be weekly field trips each Wednesday starting week 2 of camp. Field trips are an additional cost and have limited registration spaces available. Field trip information will be announced in May. (must be registered for typical camp day to enroll)
Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Pre Camp Hours: 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. (must be registered for typical camp day to enroll)
Post Camp Hours: 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (must be registered for typical camp day to enroll)

Cost of Camp: A $100 non refundable deposit will be due upon registration. Deposits are applied to the overall cost of camp. Final payments will be due May 31st.
