Annual Adult Drop- In Membership:

Below are a list of current adult drop-in programs included in our adult drop in membership. This annual membership allows for unlimited participation within any of the drop-in programs listed below. Participants are allowed one (1) free trial prior to purchasing the membership to ensure the program is a good fit. Memberships are non-refundable after initial purchase.

Description

Pickleball

Pickleball is a racket sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. This is a non competitive program, that promotes physical and social activity within the Barrington Community.
BasketballPick-up Basketball is recreational drop-in program that promotes staying active both physically and socially within the Barrington community. Though competitive play is common, the program focuses on having fun and meeting new people in a team sport atmosphere.
Adult Soccer

This pick-up style program will give adults the opportunity to play organized soccer in small games. 

Curling Club

This program is for all adults who want to socialize and try the sport of curling. Program runs during the winter months. Program will only run pending safe ice conditions.

Adult Slowpitch Softball

Dust off the old mitt and meet us at the BYA softball fields to play some adult softball! Teams are coed and players must be at least 18 years or older to participate; Dante’s Pasta & Vino has 1/2 off appetizers if you show up in your softball shirt after games!

Don't Trash BarringtonDon't Trash Barrington is a litter collection club that promotes litter-free roadways in our community. The group meets for one hour, once per month, typically on the second Saturday from 9:30 AM- 10:30 AM. We depart from various locations in Barrington. Litter grabber tools, safety vests and bags are provided. It’s a great way to get outdoors, meet new friends and benefit the community we share.
YogaThis class combines flowing yoga postures with smooth deep breathing and relaxation. Program runs during the school year only.
Tai Chi Easy

Come learn a blend of simple Qigong / Tai Chi techniques that can be done while seated, standing, or walking. When practiced on a regular basis, this is known to boost immunity, improve focus, relieve stress and lower high blood pressure. 

S.E.A.T.Seated Exercise for Ageless Training (SEAT) is a chair based workout that provides a low impact, high-energy challenge for participants of all ages, skill, & fitness levels. Jump in with this dynamic cardiovascular workout that tones and tapers the entire body!
Curious MovementCurious Movement is a class that combines yoga, dance, and joy to cultivate an engaging experience. Each week, work on focusing your chakra and creating energy to benefit your physical/emotional health; no prior experience is needed.
