2020 Town-Owned Land Sale
The Barrington Town Lands Commitee recommended to the Select Board certain lots be offered for sale in 2020. Some lots will be offered first to direct abutters, while others are anticipated to be sold by sealed bid or public auction in the fall.
The schedule for the sale is (all dates 2020):
October 15: Conservation Commission (6:00pm Virtual)
October 20: Planning Board (6:30pm Virtual)
November 2: Select Board Public Hearing (6:30pm Virtual)
November 16: Select Board Public Hearing (6:30pm Virtual)
November 30: Select Board Vote (6:30pm Virtual)
Properties initially offered to abutters:
On August 17th, letters were sent to direct abutters inquiring about their interest in purchasing the following properties for the lesser of the amount owed or property value, with responses due on August 27th. Responses were received as listed below.

Please note that this is not a finalized list of properties for sale. No properties will be added to the 2020 sale, however, properties may be removed at any point before the list is finalized. Any properties not sold to interested abutters are planned to be sold via auction in December of this year.
